Ich motto to: &#8222;cz\u0142owiek bez pami\u0119ci jest jak drzewo bez korzeni&#8221;.<br \/>\nRozrzut stylistyczny utwor\u00f3w Vae Victis jest do\u015b\u0107 du\u017cy &#8211; od &#8222;czysto breto\u0144skiej&#8221; piosenki &#8222;Le Vin Gaulois&#8221; po mniej celtyck\u0105 &#8222;Sous Les Bombes&#8221;. Jednak mimo wszystko, to co tworz\u0105 okre\u015bli\u0107 mo\u017cna jako &#8222;rock celtique&#8221; i na ka\u017cdej z p\u0142yt s\u0142ycha\u0107 celtyckie inspiracje. A tych p\u0142yt zesp\u00f3\u0142 wyda\u0142 4 &#8211; &#8222;Vae Victis&#8221; (1995), &#8222;Clovis&#8221; (mini-album 1996), &#8222;Quand les vents tournent&#8221; (1997) oraz &#8222;Hors-la-loi&#8221; (2000).<br \/>\nNiestety p\u0142yta &#8222;Hors-la-loi&#8221; jest ostatni\u0105 i kolejnej raczej nie b\u0119dzie, albowiem zesp\u00f3\u0142 ju\u017c nie istnieje [no chyba, \u017ce &#8222;Vae Victis&#8221; zmartwychwstanie]. 21 czerwca 2000 zagrali w Pary\u017cu sw\u00f3j ostatni koncert&#8230;<br \/>\nPrzed rozpadem grupy w jej sk\u0142ad wchodzili: Fran\u00e7ois (gitara i \u015bpiew), Fabrice (instrumenty klawiszowe, klarnet, flet i ch\u00f3r), Philippe (ch\u00f3r, \u015bpiew), Vincent (bas, akordeon) oraz Thibaud (instrumenty perkusyjne, bodhran).<br \/>\nJu\u017c w 1996 roku z grupy odeszli: JC oraz Cathie i stworzyli grup\u0119 &#8222;Ile-de-France&#8221;. Po rozpadzie Vae Victis do\u0142\u0105czy\u0142 do nich Thibaud.
